Return of the Writing

I started this blog several years ago so I'd have a good place where I could write stories.  But I took a very long break from writing on this blog.  I plan to resume regularly updating this blog, starting with this post.  All of the old blog posts are non-fiction. Although they may seem silly, absurd, or implausible, they are all true stories.  I plan to continue to post real stories.  Any fictional posts will be separate and indicated as fiction. As I am restarting this blog after a long break, I've removed all of the older posts and will re-publish them regularly.  When suitable, I'll include author's commentary on the post (They say hindsight is 20/20.  Does that mean if I look behind me I'll find my glasses?).  I will also try to intersperse the old posts with new stories from more recent times. The older articles are set in North Texas, while the oldest posts are from here in Maryland.  I will do my best to keep them well-sorted.  And if you're like me, and really only like to look at the pictures, I plan to introduce a series of pictures that I made.  My plan is to update my blog each Sunday night (with possible additions throughout the week).
After reading a few posts, you might start to think, "who is this guy?" or "why am I still reading this?" or "quit writing and just post more pictures".  Or you may try, as I rarely do, to over-think things and extrapolate some grand trend from my posts.  If you manage to do that, let me know, maybe it will give me better direction.  But if not, then you're on track, or off-track, as it may be.  I write about a variety of topics, and don't have much of an agenda.  In fact, I don't even have weekend plans.  I'm home writing on my blog.  But don't worry if you don't see something on my blog.  I'm not going to write about everything.  At times I may write about what seems like nothing.  Isn't that something?    Welcome back to my blog.  Enjoy the return of the writing.
